Hold free music festival for everyone!

A general look across Cowley Park

Once again our St Osyth Business Association (SOBA) has held an open air music event for all those who like an afternoon and evening, spent in the open air and listening to the bands engaged to play. The day was Saturday 20th July and after a week of glorious weather with all day sunshine, on Saturday we awoke to cloud cover and quite a brisk wind. Probably because of this it seemed to me that numbers were down a bit on the best years, but at least it did not rain!
All the usual amusements for the younger generation were on hand with a variety of Bouncy Castles, Bouncy Slides, Roundabouts, Swings Boats, Bucking Bronco, Trampolines, Bungee Harness and of course plenty to eat and drink with ‘THE HOY’ running a bar to provide the drinks for adults.
I have been promised the names of bands playing and when they are to hand I will print them here.

The photographs below were taken between 3.50 p.m. and 6.35 p.m. whilst I was on the Park.

From face painting on the left to the queue on the right, everything was provided for! Speaking to groups on the way round it seemed that the chill in the air did not spoil anyone’s enjoyment on the day.
Our warmest thanks to the St Osyth Business Association for once again organising an enjoyable day for all. Thank you!
