'FERRYBOAT'
DINNER IN THE BAY

On the Saturday before Christmas The Orchards Holiday Park in collaboration with the Ferryboat Public House laid on a Christmas Lunch for the residents of the Bay area who were over retirement age.

This is the second time a very enjoyable function had been arranged at no cost to the attendees. All were greeted with an introductory drink at the bar followed by a move to the restaurant, where a three-course luncheon was served with a selection of wines at each table. The diners asked that their thanks be given to Gordon Frew, general manager of the Orchards and John Threadwell of the Ferryboat Inn for their generosity in conveying the Christmas sprit to local residents in this manner.

After the meal the party moved back into the bar where live entertainment was provided with Karaoke opportunity for any budding vocalists. All had a very enjoyable time.

On behalf of attendees.
