OVER 60's CLUB
	Meeting on Thursday 8th November Here we are again!  Thank goodness the 5th of November is over, we’ve had 3 nights of firework displays from back gardens and my cats have had 3 nights of having to stay in.  On the whole the families here seemed to have kept a tight rein on all the children and the use of fireworks. This meeting we were short of quite a few committee members, these were off enjoying “Turkey and Tinsel”.  So the few left were having to wear two hats.  To top all that we had snow of all things!!! Mrs Buckley stood in for Mrs Francis and gave out the birthday cards and buttonholes.  The pick-up points for the Christmas dinner were taken, hope we missed no-one.  We also had one new member join us. We have a few seats for Ipswich left at £4 so if you fancy a day out Christmas shopping contact Mrs Broad on 821968. We were entertained by Roy Dace and we had a good sing song and our “Les” showed off some very nifty foot work. The next meeting will be December 13th when the times for the Christmas dinner pick-up will be given out. I hope you all keep wrapped up warm and keep an eye on those you know are alone.
