What Do We Offer?
Can We Help - Or Can You Help Us?

Family Support - Clacton has come a long way since being established in 1982 as a befriending service.  Since then, we have steadily expanded our services by obtaining grants.  We are unique in our activities and now cover Clacton-on-Sea, Holland-on-Sea, Great Clacton, Little Clacton, Jaywick, Weeley, Thorpe, Great Holland, Kirby Cross, St Osyth, Point Clear and Walton-on-the-Naze.

Our aim is to provide companionship and stimulation for housebound and socially isolated older people, enhance their quality of life, relieve the stress of their carers, and to reduce the overburdened role of the Health Authority by helping to prevent depression and associated illnesses that often lead to hospitalisation.

We are an all round support and caring organisation and work for the well-being of local older residents.  The requests for help are many and varied.
