Have you ever fancied having a go at archery but don’t know where to go or who to contact?  Well now is your chance to Have A Go at the Archery Club that is situated on the outskirts of your own village and situated withing the grounds of the Priory.

We will be running a Have A Go session at the end of April beginning of May, weather permitting, for £5 a session which will last around one and a half hours.  If you would then like to continue learning the art and continue with the sport, we will go on to run a beginner course.  The course comprises of 4 lessons lasting around 2 hours, they have been known to go on as it is difficult to stop once you start.  You will be guided by the qualified Bowmen of the club and this costs £20 for the course.

Once you have completed your starter course and have decided that you would like to continue the sport, we recommend that you buy your own starter kit which will cost from £150 which can be upgraded as you progress, and there is always someone around to buy secondhand equipment.  We will inform you about the Club Fees etc, if you decide to join our merry band.

Archery is a sport for all.  The Priory Bowmen (and women) come from all walks of life and are a very friendly and helpful band of people, who like to share their passion of the many different aspects of the sport with anyone who shows an interest.

Places are limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis, so if you with to put your name on my list or have any questions please call :
Julie on 01255 428191 after 7pm.
For information purposes we can also run small corporate events which can take place in the evening or Saturday afternoons.

Come and see the Priory Bowmen at the Medieval Fayre on Saturday, July 17th.
