St OSYTH PARISH ANNUAL RESIDENTS MEETING 2013.

From the left: Councillors Michael Talbot and John White; Sonia Grantham, Parish Chairman and Neil Williams Parish Clerk

Each year the Parish Council calls a meeting of residents from St Osyth & Point Clear. This meeting follows the Parish Council’s Annual Report, first published in the April edition of the Parish magazine. This is not a Parish Council meeting but a Parish Meeting and it is where the Council, through its Chairman and members, answer questions from residents on the Council’s past year’s activities. The meeting held on Tuesday 16th April, is a ‘residents’ meeting and offers the opportunity to all our Parish organisations to give a report on their activities in the past year and a projection of what they may have planned for the coming year. Any organisation unable to send a delegate may send an apology, with a written report that the Clerk Mr Williams will read to the meeting on their behalf.

The minutes of this meeting when prepared by Neil our clerk, and those of our past meetings (this century) may be accessed by clicking ‘Annual Meeting Report’ If you use the link you can return to this page by clicking the ‘back arrow’ at the top left of your Internet browser

I have taken small snapshots of those who spoke at the meeting , taken during their contribution – most of which are sideways views

Not just a report but an active demonstration. Our First Responders need more volunteers. They meet second Tuesday each month!!

This was a successful meeting which the Parish Council will hope all present found valuable. An active village resident thinks he or she knows most of what goes on, only to find there are village volunteers doing all sorts of work to improve activities in the village of which they knew very little!
HAVE YOU READ THE MINUTES YET?
