Village Organisations in St Osyth and Point Clear have been preparing to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen.
The official weekend of celebration is from the 2nd to the 5th June 2012, but in practice a celebration of the event can be held at any convenient time for the group concerned.

Click a link below to arrive at some of the 140 pictures and news of the various activities that have taken place around our Parish. The event are listed in date order.

Womens Royal Voluntary Service Jubilee Garden Party

Womens Institute Celebration Supper in the Parish Church

Special Parish Service to Celebrate The Jubilee

Open Air Concert transferred to the Church

Cowley Park Activities nearly ‘Washed-out’

Royal British Legion Invite residents for a Jubilee Tea Party

The Armada Beacon at Point Clear burns brightly

Street Party held in Beacon Way, Point Clear for all residents

Unfortunately a major factor was the weather and in particular the very strong wind, which caused the cancellation of a number of planned outdoor events, or change of venue, over the specific weekend and bank holidays
